CURRICULUM SYLVIE MERLO
My initial professional experience in the communications industry was followed by a formative period in the marketing department of an international designer furniture manufacturer and a seamless transition to my first self-employed position. After completing an Executive Master's degree in Communications Management at the University of Lugano, I took on responsibility for internal and external public relations as Head of PR at Switzerland's largest furniture retailer.
This phase also saw my first strategic communications project in the field of circular economy. Building on this, I took on various mandates for start-ups with a circular focus, which now form a key part of my work. In addition, I pass on my expertise as a lecturer and speaker at universities of applied sciences and support students with their work on circular economy topics.
